Rewriting

The Rewrite panel lets you keep an original point and quickly try alternate versions side by side.

To open it, right-click a point and choose Rewrite.

When you are in reading mode, you can open the Rewrite panel for the current point with Shift+R (capital R).

The first row is the original text. Use it as a baseline while you draft variants below.

Use + to add a new version, edit variants inline, and remove any draft you do not want to keep.

When you find a better version, copy it back into your document point.
