Markdown Files

Decomposer is built around Markdown files. You can edit in points-first mode and still move seamlessly into Markdown-focused views when needed.

Viewing Markdown

Use the view switcher in the toolbar to move between Points, Markdown, and Side by Side.

Keyboard shortcuts for fast switching:

• Cmd+2 opens Markdown view.
• Cmd+3 opens Side by Side view.

Side by Side is useful when you want the point tree and Markdown output visible at the same time.

Saving the File

You can save the file by clicking the save button in the toolbar or by pressing Cmd+S on macOS.
